Mad Mike’s Jerky was born from a butcher shop in Atlantic Beach, FL. Founders Mike and Kim wanted to create a business that would support their newly born daughter, Molly, as well as give them time to make a living and not miss Molly growing up.
Mike and Kim grew their customer base locally and quickly noticed that the beef jerky was flying off of the shelves at the butcher shop. The local beaches community couldn’t get enough and thus, Mad Mike’s Jerky was born

The two of them went to work, selling jerky at festivals and farmers’ markets. Mad Mike’s Jerky had a true grass-roots beginning. Mike worked meticulously on the recipes over and over until they ended up with the best jerky you’ll find anywhere.
